Truth Tabernacle was founded in 1974 in the home of Pastor David J. Meyer and his wife Shirley. Steeped in the apostolic tradition, and founded on the rock of our faith, Jesus Christ, the church thrived. Before long, a building was purchased on South Spring Street in Beaver Dam where Truth Tabernacle has been located ever since. In 1981, David began publishing the Last Trumpet Newsletter, a publication which became well-known over the years for its focus on end-time events. David faithfully preached at Truth Tabernacle and published his newsletter each month until his death in June 2010. Since that time, the Meyer family has continued the ministry. David’s son, Samuel David, took over as writer of the Last Trumpet Newsletter in August 2010. In May 2012, he began preaching at Truth Tabernacle. In September 2014, we celebrated 40 years of ministry in Beaver Dam. God has been good to us.
